LED Strip Combo wins 2010 red dot product design award LED and Lights | (0)
The LED Strip Combo adopts a minimalist approach to offering water resistance. The internal circuitry and the base are not bonded together using rigid conventional plastics but with water-resistant silicone instead. A tight seal is achieved through the combination of a rigid plastic external casing and a semi-rigid internal material. Flexible stainless steel is also incorporated into the base of the light fixture and bonded with the light cover. Our LED chandelier is made possible by the malleable nature of a particular LED Linear lighting strip that has been cast into translucent resin. This technology granted us the ability to create the 'substance' of a light fixture using essentially light alone. The fixture itself is a series of five identical pieces that radiate around the power supply in a gravity-reliant joint that we developed specifically for the chandelier. Continue Reading...
