
The LED lamp is made from Tyvek, a post-consumer plastic with a delicate feel that balances the size and scale of both versions. Tyvek made of recycled materials using sophisticated and elegant folds and hollow, soft light will be cast through during graceful light. To Louis XIV’s Grand Trianon (Great Trianon Palace) named Grand Trianon designer inspired from the palace of Versailles. Designer Paula Arnten says of her Petit Trianon Lamp (and its larger sibling, the Grand Trianon), “Both lights are a result of a unique experience I had at the Palace of Versailles combined with my love for this elegant material.”

Clocks, since the sundial, have had that one glaring obstacle they’ve had to hop over: darkness. The sundial’s basically useless, and half the rest of the clocks in the world are pretty close to it. But then there’s the light-up clock, an exercise in both illumination and simplicity. This time keeper goes by the name “Nocturnal Clock” and it’s made out of simple aluminium and LED lights. Unlike most lamps, Floo is suspended from one side. It remains level because the centre of gravity has shifted to the shade’s unique conical shape. Aesthetically, without the central cabling in the way, you get an even circular disk of light uninterrupted by wires. I love when design is as simple as moving a seam or line to create an entirely new yet enigmatic silhouette.
