Korean design took center stage again at this year’s Tokyo Design Tide, and one of the most interesting designs was this portable light by Luca 12:00. Commonly found in the bathroom, a bar of soap is reborn as a unique light lamp functioning as an interior design object. The soap can be detached from the soap deck and moved to a place of preference. The user interface for on-off lighting control is through touching the soap LED lamp. Simply rubbing the soap LED lamp will adjust luminous intensity, and the soap deck acts as a charger. The soap itself can be used as a portable LED lamp after fully recharged.
