Students and visitors in MIT’s Killian Courtyard won’t be able to miss the SOFT rockers’ graceful looping shapes, it looks like an outdoor rocking lounge furniture with a strip next-gen thin film solar panel on top, soft-wood detailing below, and interior LED lighting that glows like something out of TRON. a team lead by Sheila Kennedy, MIT Professor of the Practice of Architecture, presented to the Killian Court of MIT an outstanding project of a smart solar energy charging station – Soft Rocker The solar panels feed a 6-volt battery during the day, and it’s powerful enough, to fully charge three iPhones together in about four hours. the SOFT rockers are comfy. Designers Kennedy said"I wanted to explore how new value can be created through design for rapid growth soft wood materials in the building industry, and how software and automated fabrication can be used to mass customize the form that wood can take," .

The end result is a futuristic rocking chair, environmentally sustainable charging station, and interactive sculpture installation all in one. While having a walk in the park you can take a break in a Soft Rocker, easily charge your phone, run any USB device, watch a movie on a laptop, or have a little party, even at night the loop LED lighting is very enjoyable . Great technology and environment-friendly addition to the outdoors!

“Home of Unusual Luxury.” That’s the tag line of online shop Opulent Items. If there’s anything in their offerings that embodies that tag line, it has to be this LED park bench. The LED bench is unusual.

The bench is remote-controlled, allows for mixing of colors and can be programmed to switch colors at varying speed, or it can stick to a single color so as not to induce seizures. Kidding. The bench is equipped with non-heat lighting, so while it can blind you at least it won’t burn your ass. The bench is also weather resistant, which is fortunate because I don’t think the chair belongs anywhere else but outdoors. It would be awesome if someone actually installed it on a ceiling.

Multiple benches can be easily synchronized in order to have all benches display the same LED colors at the same time. Also, the benches use DMX-based remote control systems, which allows them to synchronize with your home sound systems or lighting systems.

The remote control (included) allows you to rotate through the gorgeous LED colors at a preprogrammed speed (you choose speed via remote control) or you can elect to have a particular color illuminate steadily. Hundreds of colors can be created as the remote control allows you to mix colors.

However, the “Jellyfish Pool LED Lamp” is an innovative lamp that other than creating various light effects also incorporates 180 spherical angle cameras to keep an eye on your children using the pool. The LED lamp also connects to TV or mobile technology, via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, to show images from the pool, together with information about the quality of the water or sun radiation.

It also integrates the Aqua filter purifier to ensure the purity of water for a hygienic bath. Moreover, the pool lamp makes use of a photovoltaic cell to recharge the batteries, while the splash sensor keeps you informed about any stir or anxiety in the pool.

The Plaza del Torico opened to the public with an image completely renovated, with more breadth and light as a backbone to enhance its beauty and its heritage character of heart and space citizen of Teruel. The beautification of the heritage of the city of Teruel to generate spaces for the enjoyment of citizens and improving the attractiveness of the capital of the Mudejar are embodied in this recovery.

The remodelling of the Plaza del Torico has included an innovative lighting system consisting of 1.230 luminaries led lamps embedded in the ground that have the ability to change color using a video program, which can generate different textures and rhythms light.
