Jellyfish secure Pool LED Lamp

pools always remain a matter of worry for the parents with young kids. However, the “Jellyfish Pool LED Lamp” is an innovative lamp that other than creating various light effects also incorporates 180 spherical angle cameras to keep an eye on your children using the pool. The LED lamp also connects to TV or mobile technology, via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, to show images from the pool, together with information about the quality of the water or sun radiation.

It also integrates the Aqua filter purifier to ensure the purity of water for a hygienic bath. Moreover, the pool lamp makes use of a photovoltaic cell to recharge the batteries, while the splash sensor keeps you informed about any stir or anxiety in the pool.

Plaza del Torico LED lighting remodelling

The Plaza del Torico opened to the public with an image completely renovated, with more breadth and light as a backbone to enhance its beauty and its heritage character of heart and space citizen of Teruel. The beautification of the heritage of the city of Teruel to generate spaces for the enjoyment of citizens and improving the attractiveness of the capital of the Mudejar are embodied in this recovery.

The remodelling of the Plaza del Torico has included an innovative lighting system consisting of 1.230 luminaries led lamps embedded in the ground that have the ability to change color using a video program, which can generate different textures and rhythms light.

LED luminous interactive installation of light and sound

A luminous interactive installation transformed the V&A’s John Madejski Garden over winter 2006. Volume was a sculpture of light and sound – an array of light columns positioned dramatically in the centre of the garden.

Volume responds spectacularly to human movement, creating a series of audio-visual experiences. Step inside and see your actions at play with the energy fields throughout the space, triggering a brilliant display of light and sound.

The piece is a collaboration between design collective United Visual Artists (UVA) and Robert Del Naja (aka 3D) of Massive Attack and his long-term co-writer Neil Davidge (as part of their music production company, one point six).

OLED Glowing pebbles capitalize on power generated by water currents

Korean Designer Yichun Chuang has successfully made some beautiful pebbles, dubbed as Luna Piedra, harness the power of water currents at the Seoul Green Project. Having embedded OLEDs, the pebbles shine with a definitive grace as a very tiny nano generator keeps on powering them all the time capably.

Since these water-resistant nuggets are immersed in water continually, the moonstones (Luna Piedra is moonstone when translated into Spanish) do not heat up and never explode suddenly. Offered in varied shapes, these can beautify the artificial waterways or similar installations.

Eko Stoplight gives countdown on LED red light

No one enjoys sitting at a LED stoplight. As you sit there you get to contemplate all kinds of things. Like wondering how much of your life has been wasted waiting on LED stoplights. Then you notice you’ve been sitting there a good long while and begin to wonder if the LED light will ever change. Then comes the agitation and impatience. Well instead of wondering how long you’ll be at that ridiculous light, you could know exactly how much time you have left if only your city would install these Eko Stoplights.

It shows you just how much time you have left by counting down. This design by Damjan Stanković was actually created for its eco-friendly benefits. With this timer you’d be able to casually sit at the light and know just how long you have. Which means you could shut off your engine to reduce the amount of gas you’re burning up while you’re sitting still. Personally I’m just excited at the idea of getting a visual reminder of how much time I have left.
