  The LED panels dot matrix digital work – Mirror, Mirror LED and Project | (0)

  Mirror, Mirror (Jason Bruges) was commissioned by the V&A in partnership with SAP for the Decode exhibition. The white dot matrix digital LED panels seem to float on the pond, awakening as visitors come into view. Cameras mounted within the LED dot matrices capture activity in the garden and simultaneously reflect this back to the viewer; the animated images are then mirrored once again in the surface of the water, creating multiple reflections.   Just when you thought that funds in the Middle East were running dry, the YAS Hotel in Abu Dhabi stuns the world by boasting the world's biggest LED project which can be controlled via remote device management (RDM) protocol. This 5-star complex comes with a curvilinear grid-shell which is covered with more than 5,300 diamond-shaped steel panels, where they will also hold nearly 5,000 RGB LED fixtures.   Yokohama Marine Tower lit by Philips LED lights LED and Project | (0)

  Philips' full color change and high-output LED floodlight "ColorReach Powercore" will add color and dream-like glamour to the reinvigorated Yokohama Marine Tower at night. In addition to the normal ColorReach Powercore installation, this year's illumination will feature gleaming stars falling from the top of the tower through Philips' LED fixtures on the frames. Philips' "iColor Flex SLX" will be used for this LED installation. Its LED-based strand form generates unique and dynamic installations without the constraints of fixture shape or space.   Emergent's Flower Street reactor can make oil by photosynthesis Emergent, who are Los Angeles based architects have designed an installation that has been filled with algae that can produce oil by photosynthesis. The Flower Street BioReactor is made of transparent acrylic and contains LED lights that vary in color and brightness for maintaining the ideal conditions for the algae.   Cocor Luxury Store in Bucharest, Romania, recently turned on an impressive Daktronics Inc. digital display system, designed and manufactured by Daktronics Inc. Multiple LED video screens have been positioned on the facade of the Cocor Shopping Centre building. The system comprises 13 large screen Daktronics LED displays that equal a total surface of 560 square meters, making it the biggest installation of one display vendor at a single building in Europe.
