Well, everyone today seems to be fashion conscious and therefore, we choose to experiment with new outfits to express our fashion statement. As a matter of fact with fashion designers experimenting with new ideas and concepts, fashion fraternity has indeed come a long way. From traditional use of fabric, fashion has seen a transformation ever since designers came up with environmentally friendly and LED lights fitted garments. Keeping the trend, Turkish designer Hussein Cahalayan presented his very own creation of ‘Video Dress’ at the Milan Design Fair.
This unique dress has 15,600 LED lights fitted in its fabric that displays a time lapse of a rose opening and closing. Put on exhibition at Milan’s 10 Corso Como gallery, I am not very sure about how comfortable one would feel donning this high tech video dress. Well, have a look at this ‘glowing’ video dress and decide whether this dress is ‘Fashionable’ or ‘Too Techie’.
