Leaf Light is an eco-conscious and bizarrely gorgeous LED lamp,LED lights are definitely the new green, with designers falling over themselves to use them in environmentally conscious, attractive lighting concepts.Herman Miller’s Leaf is more than a concept, winning awards and finding a spot in the Design Museum and New York’s MOMA collection.
A proprietary heat distribution system means that Leaf is always cool to the touch, and it swivels up to 180 degrees so that it can be used as a soft ambient glow or focussed spotlight.Touch controls are mounted at the base and the intensity of the colour can be adjusted from a cool wash to a warm glow; it’ll remember the last setting you used when you turn it off, too.And best of all, it’s 95% recyclable and made of 37% recycled material, so you can one day bin it responsibly if you’re crazy enough to want to and lucky enough to have £349+ to spend on it in the first place. There are five colours: black, white, red, nickel and polished aluminium.
